This event, known as the largest film festival solely dedicated to
Brazilian films abroad, is the pioneer of the Inffinito Festival
Circuit, and annually it hosts the most recent productions for the
largest competition of Brazilian films outside of the country.
The
13th Brazilian Film Festival of Miami is recognized by the Ministry of Culture, the Audiovisual
Secretariat, APEX, Embratur and local governments as a successful
business and communication platform for media, professionals and
companies investing in audiovisual products.The program includes,
in addition to the competitive screenings, a series of special
screenings, outdoor screenings, panels, the MarketPlace – a
business fair, attended by representatives from international and
Brazilian companies from the sector.
The Crystal Lens Award is conferred in 12 categories for
feature-films and in 6 categories for short-films by the official
jury.
