“Get Yourself Hooked”

Looks like the bridge and tunnel crowd has a reverse commute the first and third Thursday of every month in Berkeley. Long-time Bay Area Femme Fatale DJ Moody Eva has recently moved back to the Bay and is setting up shop at Berkeley’s Shattuck Down Low with her new twice-monthly party, “The Hook Shop.”

This FREE party features the best in electro and breaks so the faint at heart or sensitive blazer-laden loafer set ought to look elsewhere for their debauchery on Thursday nights. Resident DJs for opening night and beyond (lovingly dubbed ‘Working Girls’ by party promoter Goodbeats.com) include Moody Eva, Dawn of Sound, dj Dhamma, and Alona – a veritable who’s who in the Bay Area female DJ circuit to be sure. Boys don’t feel completely left out though – the line up will also feature (most nights) two “Pimps of the Week” DJs featuring both old and new faces pulled from SF’s rich DJ talent pool.
